What is a Cox Format Warranty?

The Build Assure backed warranty acts as insurance should Cox Format cease to trade whilst working on your building project. It gives you an added level of protection which should you need to use it will ensure that any outstanding work is completed. The outstanding part of the project will be completed by another Build Assure registered construction company.

Build Assure 2 is included in our quotation if mentioned when placing an order, if you wish you can upgrade to a higher level of cover, details of which are mentioned below.

Build Assure Value

This offers you basic cover for those on a tight budget, it covers you for loss of deposit and/or liquidation during the project itself up to 10% or the total insured value of the works.

Build Assure 2

In addition to the Value package, this gives you protection of 6 months against any structural defects or poor workmanship which means that your building does not comply with regulations . It also protects against failure to comply with codes or practise or in fact anything that creates a health and safety danger to those occupants as set out in the policy.

As part of Build Assure 2 you will also gain 18 months of protection against any water ingress, structural damage or anything that creates a danger to the health and safety of the occupants as set out by the policy itself.

Build Assure 6

In addition to Build Assure Value this offers you 2 years cover against any structural defects or poor workmanship which means that your building does not comply with regulations . It also protects against failure to comply with codes or practise or in fact anything that creates a health and safety danger to those occupants as set out in the policy.

You are also protected for 4 years against any water ingress, structural damage or anything that creates a danger to the health and safety of the occupants as set out by the policy itself.

Build Assure 10

In addition to Build Assure Value this offers you 2 years cover against any structural defects or poor workmanship which means that your building does not comply with regulations . It also protects against failure to comply with codes or practise or in fact anything that creates a health and safety danger to those occupants as set out in the policy.

You are also protected for 8 years against any water ingress, structural damage or anything that creates a danger to the health and safety of the occupants as set out by the policy itself.
